Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be met by a Dream Trails Expeditions representative and transferred to your Arusha hotel for overnight rest before your safari briefing.

DAY 1: Arrival in Arusha

Route: Kilimanjaro International Airport → Arusha
Distance / Time: ~1 hour drive from JRO
Elevation: ~1,400 m
Habitat: Urban / Highland Garden

Experience:

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where a Dream Trails Expeditions representative will warmly welcome you.
Transfer to your lodge in Arusha and check in for some rest after your journey.
If time allows, take a short walk in the lodge gardens or relax by the pool.
In the evening, enjoy dinner and a short safari briefing with your guide.

🦏 DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Route: Arusha → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Distance / Time: ~190 km | Approx. 3–4 hours drive
Habitat: Highland forest and volcanic crater

Experience:

After an early breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area — one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, and flamingos.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool inside the crater.
